The El Kays are a transatlantic folk-pop duo based out of Portland, Oregon comprised of Thom Lyons from London, England and Rose Kohn from Washington D.C. They formed in the midst of the pandemic out of a mutual need to find a new creative outlet after a year of lockdown, and play a harmony-laden mix of americana, folk and indie-pop.
As a solo artist, Thom has released several E.P.’s, performed across the US and UK, and has shared the stage and the studio with Rachael Yamagata, Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket), Anna Tivel, and  Jenny Conlee (The Decemberists).
